The Name Preview feature - 2017 - 2021

At Tenengroup LTD. (MYKA.com), I developed an innovative feature to enhance the user experience by providing a dynamic, 3D-like preview of personalized products in real-time.

This initiative aimed at utilizing the available resources efficiently and seamlessly integrating the feature into the live site without altering the backend.

Context

In the competitive e-commerce domain, the need for an advanced, interactive user experience was paramount. I was challenged to create a feature allowing users to preview and adjust their personalized products before purchasing, thereby enhancing user satisfaction and minimizing product returns.

Objective

To elevate user experience and interaction by developing a seamless, real-time 3D text preview feature, utilizing user-centered design principles while working within the constraints of existing resources and backend systems.

Understanding the user's need for clarity and precision, I leveraged HTML, 3D CSS, SVG, and JavaScript to create a “fake” 3D effect, allowing users to visualize their customizations on products accurately.
